A Year in Ceremony (2025-2026 Cohort)
“There is a deep longing among people in the West to connect with something bigger — with community and spirit. People know there is something missing in their lives, and believe that the rituals and ancient ways of the village offer some answers.” — Sobonfu Somé
A Year in Ceremony is for those who acutely sense the lack of soul within our culture and who long to recover a more beautiful way of being human together.
Intuitively, you know that reclaiming a sensual life of deep ritual is key to nourishing your soul and serving the regeneration of culture. Perhaps you also feel called into the role of sacred space holder, ritualist, activist, healer, or priestess, in service to your community, clients, or family. And given the complex legacies of colonization and the lack of resonant modeling, you likely feel a bit awkward and even weary as you seek to embody this role with authenticity and integrity.
If you feel this calling and long for your gifts to grow and mature in ways that are deeply-rooted and profoundly potent, A Year in Ceremony offers you a lovingly-held apprenticeship and inspirited practice ground.

Grief as Gateway to Soul
"Grief work is soul work. Grief tending is the cutting edge of soul activism." — Francis Weller
About this workshop
How do we carve out space amidst the overwhelm of life's requirements to slow down and feel deeply enough to access the caverns of our hearts? How will anything change if we don't?
We see everywhere the evidence of generational trauma repeating itself. The breakneck pace of modernity demands that we numb out to keep going. To interrupt the cycles of insanity, we are learning to pause and practice the sacred art of grief tending. To access the gold of our souls, we must.
Come tend with us, friends — your personal grief and that of our collective. Let's remember the wisdom that lives in our bodies and connects us to the soul of the world.
What we'll explore
In this three-hour + 30-minute workshop, we will:
Invite our voices to open the path to our heart through Song
Anchor a practical skillset of embodied space holding
Practice sacred witness as a key component of building relational safety
Explore each of Francis Weller's Five Gates of Grief through interactive processes
Create beauty through a simple, repeatable ritual
Each time we practice together we build skill. Each time we tend our own grief, we tend the heart of the world. May this time of tender listening and honoring our sorrow reignite the passion of our souls and awaken an outpouring of love for the world.

Reclaiming Power through Ritual: An Online Workshop in the Art of Emergent Ritual Craft
Join ritualist and soul guide Carolyn Griffeth and songleader Lyndsey Scott of Earthkeeper Wisdom School for a deep dive into emergent ritual craft.
“Ritual is the technology we use to stay human in the face of systems that want to grind us down.” ~ Jamila Bradley
The intensity of these times invites us to show-up each day in the full force of our Love and to remember dimensions of power beyond politics. Ritual is the ancient technology that empowers us to catalyze transformation and healing, to dream healed futures into being, to honor our grief, and to bring forth the gift of our souls in service to the greater web of life. In these ways and more, ritual serves to revive soul and culture.
And new ritual forms are ever longing to be born through us in service to our times!
What rituals does your soul need to heal or embody the fullness of your calling?
What rituals can you imagine serving your community’s healing and wholing?
In this 3 ½ hour participatory workshop, we will:
Anchor in principles of intuitive ritual craft
Practice song + embodiment + connection in ways that land us deeper into heartspace
Spend time dialing in a ritual for you or your community
Workshop ritual inspirations in group space
Bless up these vision seeds and next steps

Rewilding Feminine Soul: A Weekend Gathering to Recover our Wholeness
Is your wild heart longing for some barefoot-on-earth dancing, forest wandering, cuddled-in-each-others-arms recalibrating, gathered-round-the-fire Singing, cold water plunging, and brave heart truth-telling?
You’re invited.
Come be refreshed and drink deep from the well of wisdom inside you, catalyzed by the caring presence of others who are also coming home to the vibrantly Alive divine feminine within. We’ll ground in the blessings of our lives, grieve the impact of internalized sexism, slough and molt unneeded energies, and attune to where our soul’s song harmonizes with the great Song of Life.
This gathering is for all those who identify as women or femme, and/or for those gender queer and nonbinary kin who were raised as female and welcome further connection in undoing unwanted sexist scripts ready for unwinding. This is a trans- affirming space AND it is led by two white cis-women doing their human best to outgrow blind spots…. we are unlearning together & we warmly welcome a call pre-registration to presence any questions and concerns so we can ease into brave clear space in relationship and curiosity.
Grieving Ourselves Home: a 2-day grief ritual held in Song & community care
"Grief is natural: to grieve the loss of what we love is as natural as peeing, eating, singing, dreaming, running, or looking under rocks for bugs to feed your frog. More importantly, grieving is necessary: when there is real loss, grieving should never be avoided or postponed; grieving is absolutely necessary. Without grief the world would cease to renew itself; the world would cease to exist.
Grief is not a preference, for choosing to not have grief when grief is there is to defer and burden someone else with having to do your grieving. This makes the world a sick place. To truly and freely grieve as an entire people can revive an entire culture just as much as it can bring back to life an individual.” — Martín Prechtél
Where does it hurt?
Let’s aim our love, our listening, our Song, our care right there.
Welcome to this natural, necessary, liberatory work.
Together we are powerful to tend and move the grief that heavies our souls ~ from the particular losses and traumas of this lifetime to the terrors inside the lineages we each inherited. Collective grief ritual is a cutting edge of soul activism, a way to support each other in moving energy that otherwise might stagnate or get repressed. It’s way too much heavy lifting to do alone – but when we join together in community and ceremony, we alchemize suffering into tremendous bandwidth for Love.
Come explore with us, where your tender places are welcome ~ held in connection, community, and lots of Song.
Autumn Equinox Ritual: Communion with the Ancestral Waters
💧 Join ritualists, Carolyn Griffeth and Tamira Cousett as we co-weave a portal of connection and remembrance with the Ancestral Waters that sustain life and hold the mysteries of ancestral wisdom. 💧
Like our ancestors' wisdom, water cannot be created or destroyed. Thus, every water molecule on Earth has existed for billions of years, serving as the life-blood of all who have come before us and connecting us all to the ecosystems of creation. Water is a multi-dimensional being and shapeshifter, a co-creator and sustainer of life, and a keeper of ancestral memories and mysteries.
In celebration of Autumn equinox, we will collectively attune to this field of living memory to bring forward a harvest of blessings via song/orin, story, and a water blessing ritual.
Ritually, you will be invited to commune with the ase of the ancestral waters that live in you and bless/charge water with the memories and medicines these ancestral waters are inspiring in you at this time.
We pray that our ritual will nourish our souls and the soul of the world!
With 💙 and devotion,
Tamira and Carolyn
Summer Solstice Ritual: Nourished by Fire
Come join us around the communal fire for a ritual of claiming lives that bring us fully alive!
Join ritualists Carolyn Griffeth and Tamira Cousett as we co-weave a portal of nourishment held by the Spirit of Fire. We will invite the medicines of Fire to support us as we root in our lived experiences of nourished aliveness, and listen anew for those experiences and ways of being that enliven and nourish our souls.
Swimming in nature and sitting around the fire with friends comes to mind…
Ritually, you will be invited to release what no longer serves your soul and welcome in support for that which does. Our releasing and welcoming ritual will be held as an offering towards the re-souling of the world as we witness and attend to our own souls longings.
We welcome you to prepare by reflecting:
Can you recall moments, experiences or memories when your soul felt deeply nourished and alive?
What ways of being are in the way of you co-creating a life that ignites your soul?
Also, if you have an object or symbol that represents what nourishes your soul, we welcome you to bring it with you.
If accessible: We also welcome everyone to invite the Spirit of Fire into their space by lighting a candle. Each individual flame will tie into the collective fire which will be central to our communal ritual.
We pray that our ritual will nourish our souls and the soul of the world!
With 🧡 and devotion,
Tamira and Carolyn
